Beginning transition is actually not a difficult thing. The difficult this is getting to the point where you are ready for it. Once you have overcome any boundaries you may have, here is the first step you must take to get the transition ball rolling:

Step 1 - Find a support group, or medical practitioner

Depending on the country you are from, and what is available to you in the way of "trans services", you will want to begin by meeting with a support group, or something similar to help you link-in with medical practitioners who treat transgendered patients. GP's who specialize in treating transgenderism will be likely to have connections to other medical practitioners such as psychologists, psychiatrists, and endocrinologists.. who usually make up a team that help transgendered people to go through transition.

While the above step will be helpful for people in countries where services are available.. it may be the case that such services are not available to you. In this situation it is most appropriate to self-administrate your transition.

Because I am not a medical professional, nor am I experienced in dealing with self-administraion, I cannot give advice on the best way to self-administer, without having some kind of accountability for your safety, and well-being. Doing a self-administered transition will include purchasing estrogen, and anti-androgen's from retailers who will sell it without a prescription. There is a risk in this, like with many things in life, so make sure that if you begin a self-administered transition, that you seek, and partner with another trans woman who has done the same thing, and seek personal guidance from them.

If you have self-administered your transition, and would like to help others do this safely, or atleast with a minimized risk. Please sign into one of the social network sites BELOW in the comments, and leave a comment using a profile where you are happy to be contacted.

Hope this helps, Much Love, Lea
